ETERNAL GRAY Issues New Album Update
June 26, 2009The Israeli/German dark death metal band ETERNAL GRAY has issued the following update:
"There are actually quite a few major things that are now on the works. The first is the release of the upcoming [ETERNAL GRAY] album, 'Your Gods, My Enemies'. All we can tell at the moment is that it's going to be released in a revolutionary way never seen before in the music industry! A big change in our perception of the music industry and we in it led us to re-think the media itself, the way it's being sold and quid pro quo of CDs and albums being sold nowadays. We think there's a better way to do things. A broad update about that will follow in the next few weeks and some surprises for you!
"The second major thing will be a change in our logo. It is nearly done and will be introduced very soon. We do that because we believe our concept has changed and developed, therefore all what we use to pass it on to you, should change and get re-shaped as well.
"The third major new thing that is on the works and we're very excited to work on is 'Mr. I'. Who and what is 'Mr. I'? Well, 'Mr. I' is a representative and a mirror of us, me and also you (in a way),and of our concept. Again, we're very excited to work on it and even more to be showing it to you soon.
"To sum it all up: We've three major things that are keeping us busy at the moment, regardless the planning of the HUGE upcoming show, new killer looking merchandise and other stuff that are being done to support the three main subjects. Naturally it takes a little while and it is to make sure whatever comes to you will be a great product."
ETERNAL GRAY recently posted unmastered versions of two songs from its forthcoming "Your Gods, My Enemies" album — "Controlled" and "Never Waits" — on the group's MySpace page. The CD was recorded at Studio Underground in Sweden.
ETERNAL GRAY's debut album, "Kindless", came out in 2002 via Listenable Records.
